The network launched an HMO product following its inception, but enrollment was limited and commitment to the network and its goals was waning.

Network comprised of a mixture of smaller and larger players with varying financial flexibility and willingness to invest in new initiatives.


Stagnant performance of previously launched HMO product resulted in participants who were skeptical of investing additional time and resource to network initiatives.

BDC worked to develop a growth focused 5-year strategy that would bring success to network members in an increasingly competitive market.

  • Facilitated conversations amongst provider organizations to develop a shared mission and vision
     

  • Conducted stakeholder and market (health plan, brokers) interviews and performed analytics to understand network opportunities
     

  • Assessed foundational IT capabilities
     

  • Developed a new organizational chart to support the implementation plan and associated strategic initiatives
